Small Steps
I did Awakening - The Dive - yesterday for about 20 minutes. A friend of mine suggested I start by aiming to do 15 minutes a day instead of the 30 given how muchmy mind tends to race, and bounce around so much. I suppose it's similar to the concept of starting a new excersise program. When you haven't worked out in ages, you need to gradulally work your muscles into shape to do the same amount as those who have already been training. (I am also doing P90x for the last week, and I have had to do the "easing" into that as well - however not by choice :-) While I agree with this theory, I think I will try to go all in and do the fully time recommended daily. I found yesterday while still edgy, my mind did work through a couple problems clearly that I may not normally take time to do. Whatever the reason may have been, it's positive!

Glad to find your blog. I was just diagnosed w/ADHD and have been on Vyvanse for 1 month. At first it was great, but now is giving me some generalized anxiety, which I cannot stand because that is not me, as I'm fairly laid back.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get off the medicine, so I'm looking into alternatives like Holosync, Biofeedback, etc. I look forward to following your experience with this program.
